My name is Samantha and I am the creative force behind Loganberry design. After gaining a degree in Textile Design and Manufacture from Leeds University, I then went on to complete an Interior Design course at the National Design Academy in Nottingham.
I have always had that creative flair, the story my Mum always tells is of the day she found me in the cupboard above the stairs, (the one with the loft hatch inside it), where I had created my own "Sewing room" using an old table, chair and lamp, and I was midway through making the most amazing patchwork quilt. I was 12 at the time, and my Mum still has the quilt!
Three years ago, after 14 years working as an Interior Designer for IKEA, I finally plucked up the courage to go out on my own and Loganberry design was born. I haven't looked back since and often wonder why I didn't do it years ago. My work takes me all over Europe, seeing amazing places, meeting new people and creating amazing spaces for people to live and work in.
